You know, most people here in the states just bolt already developed stuff on. Very few fabricate and develop the stuff. When you tune MB's, there is no bolt on stuff available. MB tunners are few and far between.

Also, where do you get the core material to build your radiators. I will be making one soon.

I see!

I use Honda crx race radiator and rebuilded it and it works just fine and it can keep the temperature!

My transmission allmost broke. Bottomstock bearing is dead so I think that its not to late to fix it.
But I have no time to do it now so I took another trans from some janky 300ce sportline on my friends backjard. This tran getrag 717450 must be stronger then my old 717404
I hope this trnas can hold this summer

Flywheel question

One word *** WOW ***
They say sometimes that I have golden hands because I treat people with manual techniques, but you must have golden hands in the mecanic departement, this is really some work of art congratulations.

I am doing my own project on a M104 - 320 engine to put in my SL (having it done ) question is, my tuner wants to change the two mass flywheel... Does your M103 engine have a 2 mass flywheel also? If not maybe I could use one of the M103... or is there no need?

Things already bought is the S 350 turbodiesel crankshaft (very hard to find) C36 AMG cam shafts, K&N pistons ordered but takes a very long time, should run on a very high compression because I am putting it on LPG also a complete engine management will be fit (DTAfast) custom exhausts manifolds and removal of kat. should go well over 300 HP (no turbo)

Thanks a lot, will keep you posted on progress ETA end august 2007.

Thanks man!!!

I have 1 mass lighted flywheel, I like it better then 2 mass so if you want you can use m103 flywheel.

Some day I wanna tune SL too
It would be fun with SL M103 Turbo

Cool

Thanks for the info, I will try and post pictures about my engine, I think it would be super cool if you would make a R107 SL with your engine (love that model too, I am saving for one like that also), maybe you could do that one for me, I had to go with non turbo on this one because it would be triky to pass the technical control here in Belgium, but on old timers they only check the brakes

Talk to you later

Is this 650HP at the rear wheels or at the crank?
