I'm going to be honest if those real half shafts and diff are stock, I'm proud of those little guys. Although if you manage to hook it at the launch they might not be there long.

UPD racing torque converter.

I bought racing high stall converter from
2003 - 2007 UPD MERCEDES TORQUE CONVERTER- 3000 STALL for 722.6 transmissions

I wanted higher stall speed 5000rpm so I payed 1200$ for this converter.

After I installed it and would test drive so there was no difference at all to the stock converter.
With the brakes were stall speed at 1700rpm and with trans brake at 2400 rpm.

I opened the converter and suddenly saw that it was completely stock, just like my stock converter from 270cdi.

I contacted the UPD but they claimed that if you are unskilled, you can not see the difference between stock and racing.
Probable they did not know that I am workning with a mercedes trannys and converters.

Then I sent the pictures to them of my stock converter and their converter and after that they have been completely silent and not heard from them ever again.

I can explain why their converter provides higher stall speed on the V8.
Because they use 11 "converter from inline and V6 engines that are smaller in diameter and has higher stall speed then the V8 converter.

You can get even higher stall speed by using 202 serial converter that comes from the 4 cyl engines.

They have, however Installed multi-clutch pack for luckup as it is available for purchase at the Mercedes. The only problem is that they have not shims the clutches crearens so that the clutch pack was completely immoveble With No clearens at all!

Here you have some thing to think about before you order UPD racing converter.

here is some pics from our converter workshop.

Old trick in the converter world. At least they are putting the upgraded lock up clutches in.
It is still 3-400 to much for a converter.

yes but they could not even install lockup clutches right, with no clearens at all.
Then it is not nesserary anyway because lockup dont use at the full throttle anyway.
Here is sweden stock converter is about 200$ and I get them for free.
Then shipping cost and then 35% customs tax of the amount so I got a real expensive stock converter

What are you running it in? If you lock up the converter on the top end it is good for some additional power to the ground. I saw about 11-15 whp at around 350-360 last time I dyno'd the difference. We see a few mile an hour in the trap speeds and the quarter at least. We normally lock up in 3rd and above at the lock up speed of the converter.
Sucks they could not get the clearances correct. That is simply enough.

actualy lockup cant handle my full power thats why I use lockup only below 50% tps.

I will switch to smaller 202 converter and change the angle of the blades a little bit to get some higher stall

If you are running a standalone controller for the transmission in your car then you should be able to run lock up. We run it on +1000whp v8tt hemis that weight quite a bit more than your 300e.

Realy, stock lockup 1000hp? Because i broke one lockup and after that I changed setting in my controller to lockup only below 50% TPS.

Otherwise I would like to run lockup at the full throttle but now I switch to 90mm new turbo and I dont want to burn it again.
