Yes, Ihave one in my 1994 E 320 wagon, had the rev. limit moved up to 6500and shift point up higher and had the top end limiter removed. I ordered It out of the ad in STAR and they were real helpful and said it would add 15-17 hp also put K&N and it runs alot better. Ive had it in about 2 years, if I remember it cost around $400-$500. I had my mechanic put it in because of the warnings about grounding and static elec.

ReallY? Some questions:

1) you have contact info?(phone, web site, etc.)
2) how does the car idle?
3) you really notice the power difference? The rev limit and top end limiter aren't important to me. Just the power gain across the board.
4) What area do you most notice the power gains?
5) How did your mileage fare after the upgrade?

thanks for the reply, this is the first person I've heard of with chip in this engine.

From older Star mag. "Quickchips" 3642 Venture,Huntington Beach 714-270-6388, Fax 714-846-8031. Idle no change, mileage claim better-maybe but no noticable difference, power comes on a lot stronger around 3500rpm when it gets on the cam. no problems,I use middle level cheveron, no knock, but had it when I used Regular with the chip. Mike,
I work in Huntington Beach and I'm going to give quickchips a call tomorrow. What else can you tell us about the chip? How long did it take? Do they put in a new chip, or reprogram the existing one? HOw much did it cost yOU? Thanks a bunch.

Niko,
It's not the right number. I will try 411 later and see what I get.

So no one else knows of someone who makes chips for the E-class? there has to be others out there. Boy, it was a piece of cake finding chips for my A4. Maybe cause it was also a turbo so bumping boost is a lot easier than trying to work up some extra ponies out of a normally aspirated engine.

Chip for E320

Hey Niko,

Did you find a US company that makes a chip for your E320? I am in the market for one too. I have see ones listed on the web but they are companies in Europe or Australia. I am a bit concerned about a US spec car and a European chip.
Any thoughts out there?

David

Nothing so far, so I too am hesitant on getting a chip from overseas, unless someone has had an experience they would like to share
