What do you mean "How do i know if it fits on my car". If you order an Eisemann exhaust for your 2001 C240 you should get an Eisenmann exhaust for your 2001 C240. There is usually some cutting of the original involved so have your dealer or muffler shop do it. If you want to just add chrome tips, buy the ones you like, cut the old tips off and bolt/screw-on or weld-on the new ones. Sometimes this later, add-a-tip method is not possible because the original tips (if two) are very close together. I believe your original exhaust tips are curved and point to the ground. Sometimes the rear valance needs to be trimmed. Other company choices are:
AMG Brabus Carlsson Lorinser Fox Remus Renntech Supersprint Check out http://www.statusimports.com for discount prices on all brands including the Eisenmann. |

Kevin,
Do you recommend Status Imports? I have never heard of that group, and wondering if they have a good reputation? Thanks. |

Status Imports are authorized mail order distributors for Bekkers, CEC Wheels, Tire Rack and even sell discount Renntech. I ordered my AMG Exhuast, Carlsson & ATP Wheels from Status Imports. They had the lowest prices, but no on-line ordering.

Kevin, thanx for your post. Since i'm leasing the car am i allowd to weld the exhaust tip, or do i just have to fasten it. Also my tailpipes hang down, so would i have to buy a different kind of exhaust.

2001c240,
I think the downward pointing tips maybe spaced to close to each other to replace with custom tips unless the new tips are very "skinny" or thin in design. The "add-a-tip" route may be more trouble than it is worth. IMHO, it looks "cheesy" and cheap to just screw on those chrome sleeves to pass-off your exhaust as Sport or Custom. The "add-a-tip" method is pretentious. Go with the Sport Muffler and save the original one to put back on. The Eisenmann is one of the best muffler values on the market.
