performance parts
Ok so I've got a 1994 MB e420, and I was wondering If there are any performance parts availble for this car? Whats the AMG upgrade kit? I've seen other web sites with this "amg kit". But where could I find 1994 MB E420 performance parts? Is there a web site, or what? And is it possible to supercharge this US E420? I's a 4.2litter v8 pummping out 275hp but I would love more Horse power. Is it possible to get 350hp to 400 in this car?

Sure, power can be had. I'd wager you could ring up Renntech and they would punch it out for you.. Figure 35,000 and about 70-80hp bump in performance.
I'm working @ being able to offer AMG port and polish as well as AMG spec cams for M119's. No one to my knowledge has a viable supercharger kit. I'd like to get my hands on a beater 400E to plumb in a rear mount turbo..see how that works.. All in all, I don't think you'll find much out there. Jonathan

There are currently no off the shelf kits. You could however play around with layout and install a supercharger. A rear mounted turbo is always an option and lastly as Jonathan sugggested you could send it to Renntech for a 6.0 liter displacement bump. They do charge more on the later "open block" engines though.
Edit - Do note the compression, its quite high at 11:1. Is there a link I can bookmark for progress updates? Sound interesting to say the least Last edited by EliotW; 08-17-2007 at 01:33 PM. |
