Any idea if this would work on an M103 powered W126?

From what Bergwerks says, no it won;t work on the 300SE. But, I've looked at the schematic for both the 420SEL and the 300SE and I can't see any differences in the transmission circuits. 1st gear engages when the shifter is moved to 2 and the kickdown switch works the same.
