I have been looking into possible coil retrofits/replacements using adjustable air bags from http://www.airbagit.com or any other possible distributor... I was in a Thunderbird that had these installed and the ride quality was actually pretty decent! Hard on the shocks though!! (especially with fast valves)
Has anyone been brave enough to try these out on a W124? They make airbag coils that could be drop-in replacements for your original coils... hmmm just a thought, -tom |
