Have you made a kit for the M117 CIS (KE-Jetronic systems yet)?

Ive been thinking of converting my 560 to EFI, but I was always worried about making a new intake manafold. Did you find injectors that screw into stock locations?

I am novice in engine tuning, I just collect information. When I do that I will decide: make turbo engine or not. If I find a way to get over 350hp from m117.965 without charger (and without "nitro"), I will do that!

I asked the "koenig-specials" about his turbo-kit for m117.968, it costs at about 10000 euro, includes charger, motronic, injectors, etc. And give 100HP. Maybe you can try to buy only injectors from him?

You might take a good look at the work that OughtSix has done with his SLC.
450slc megasquirted

Among other things, it appears that the standard 19lb/hr injectors that Ford uses in the Mustang will plug right into the injector openings on the m117 engines once you remove the adapter bushing that MB has around the K Jetronic injectors.
One advantage of using these injectors is that if you eventually need more fuel flow, you can easily get high flow injectors through the Ford performance aftermarket!

I'm planning on going this way once my rebuild is complete and proves that it will run at all.

I recall him having to machine down the od of the injector a bit.

they do not screw down. they are held in with the fuel rail, and the fuel rail get bolted down.

Yes, he did turn them down a little, but then he pointed out that others had done it without the machining.
From the look of his injectors, I wonder how much may have just been due to the surface rust that they seemed to have!

Well, I'll be testing the non-machining method in the relatively near future, I'll let you all know what happens then.

Are you asking about fuel prices? If so, here in the USA, no, definitely not decreasing!

Ah.. I haven't converted my car yet, so I couldn't tell you on that. Pumpish might be able to tell us though!

Talking to OughtSix about his car, he has gotten slightly better mileage, but he's been driving the car harder as well.
