Hi,

As everyone is going gaga over the Euro e500 on EBay I was wondering if anyone can shed some light about the grill.

Its just too nice not be put on my car.

So I was wondering if someone could shed some light.

Which 600 is the grill from?
Could I put on my '94 e320?
If not does anyone know of a likeness of the 600 grill?

the euro e500 on ebay looks like it has a regular 94 e-series grill

Bought it from PAD (http://www.precisionauto.com/) It's their so-called SPORT GRILL. Finished it with six coats of clear coat. Also painted the chrome surround black and clear coat. Removed the hood star and replaced with PAD's flat star.



It's definitely different!!

Well the grill that e500 has..isn't the stock one that comes in the US

the differences +/- aren't very apparent to me....

I think it's the grill of W140 S600 due to the number of horizontal chrome strips (6). The S600s had a different grill from the rest of the W140 line.

I've also seen a local shop install an avant garde grille of the W210 E-Class on a W124 300E and they had to trim a bit off the sides. The E class grill looks similar to the one pictured on ebay, less a horizontal chrome strip. The W210s only come with 5 horizontal slats.
