Looks great! Who did your intercooler? On my E300, the inlet tube actually turns and flattens out when it rounds the corner and ducks under the tow hook. I was thinking of cutting the tow hook off and upgrading the intercooler but if you have a better solution that still fits under the stock facia, I'd love to see the results.

what are you going to do with that black heater tube that goes past ur turbo,
i put in a longer one so i could route it out of the way a bit more, and also put it inside a heat resistant pipe protector thing i got from a aviation shop

also while the car is semi appart, rip out all that black matt noise proof stuff from around the turbo area to around the back of the engine and down under the car. Trust me on this one it isnt heat proof enough and my stuff caught on fire but luckly it was only on a early test run and i just drove back to my place and put it out with the hose

I dont think i have heater tubes by the turbo, just dexcool antifreeze hoses that were in the way. I rerouted them with some flex hose and Im getting a heat sock for the hot side that reduces temps around the turbo to near stock N/A levels so i can leave the firewall material alone.

You might want to consider using a stock sealed airbox with a K&N panel filter that pulls air in from the outside.

Your filter location will not give you a dense ambient air charge, only heated engine compartment air.

You'd be surprised how much more power you get when you are in a 50 degree or lower ambient and sucking in the cold dense air.

The turbo loves it !!!

This is where I'm drawing air in from....a plenum behind the lower grille / removed tow hook cover on a C124.

I'm sure you have a similar location on a W210.

I wish i could have run the stock box but no room, as ghetto and redneck as it looks its in the prime position for "cold" air as far as the upper part of the car is concerned. Look at my sig below: see the port next to the radiator on the left of the pic? The airfilter is snug up against it, exactly where the stock tube was. The filter can get air from its center section as its a donut cone style, if it gets too much hot air in from the outer filter section then ill get some pipe like yours, seal it on the back of the filter and mount it in that stock intake hole so the whole filter gets outside air.

I was fiddilling with that stock box idea for a while after i got my intercooler mounted(still waiting on some vital couplers so i can build the charge pipe) but mercedes really crammed all they could into the w210s theres just no space after the intercooler piping is in place.

I cant even imagine the headaches when me and nathan begin to turbo his e430. But thats not for a month or two.

Got a pm that asked if it worked well and made equal or better power than the TT kits, would i sell it? Id make another one but im keeping this one . Kind of a rough figure but I'd sell a manifold, turbo, and intercooler for probably around 1800 specifically(the ic piping is the specific part) made to fit the e320 w210 with oil lines and hardware. Id sell the manifold and turbo for around 1400 for a w124 e320 with oil lines and hardware. If you wanted a downpipe id make one but it would screw you on shipping plus it would be around 400-500 for the first one because i'd need to make a jig so i dont have to make it off my own car everytime.

looking good!
a problem i had is that my stock airflowmeter maxed out at around 2psi boost.
(it has a range of 0-5v and it would hit 5v at 2psi around 4grand) i had to make a larger one, but ur airflowmeter looks different to myne and you might be able to get away with it.
and that is basically the same place i put my waterpump.
nice work

from memory it was 3 1/4 inch 'outside" diameter (that was the size of the silocone fitting that fit onto it snug)
i made a larger one which is around the 3 1/2" internal diameter
