diff / EGS GURUS Help!!

greetings,

my ride is a 2001 clk 430 which has the 2.82 diff and i want a bit of more performance from 0-100km, all my bimmer friends simply swap the diff and all is good... i found out after research that i need the EGS or TCU for me to make it work, making a long story short i got a deal on a 3.07 diff and its EGS from a 1998 CLK 320, what exactly should i do after installing the diff? simply remove the current egs and put in the new one? or do i need to have a scanner / coder tool? any help will really help me out

thanks in advance

you will need to change version coding to get the speedo corrected. this will have to be done with the factory scanner.
