Thanks !!
I finally installed my Sportline suspension I researched for months before going with Sportline. After many e-mails with allot of people on this site, I am convinced I made the right choice.
I ordered the kit the begining of August, arived a week later, Thanks Fastlane! Then the battle began with my tech to have the kit installed, he insisted it would not make a difference and wanted $1200 bucks to do the install. After more research, I decided to do the install myself. It took me 2 and a half days and allot of patience, but its done. I cannot believe what a difference, its like a brand new car. One of the guys I work with took the car for a ride at lunch and cannot believe the difference either. He went with H&R springs on his car, but he thinks mine rides better. Well sorry to babble on, but I wanted to say THANKS! to all who responded to questions, and listened to my concerns. THANKS to Fastlane for all thier help and support.

Dean-
Thanks for the post. JCE bought the first Sportline kit from us and was amazed...so was his Tech. It would ALMOST be entertaining for you to let your Tech drive your car and feel the difference himself. It is pretty dramatic. The real beauty is that your car is still 100% Mercedes and can easily be serviced and maintained using Mercedes Sportline specs. All you have to tell your Tech is to use Sportline specs when he aligns the front-end. You can't do that when you use aftermarket suspension mods. Congrats on doing the install yourself. Enjoy your "new" Mercedes!

Dean:
Are you going to put the Sportline flags on the car? They look like the ancestor of the AMG badge, and help keep the allignment shop reminded to allign to 'Sportline' settings.

Bill, Thanks for your support, and getting me the parts. You have a customer as long as I have a need to get parts! I tried to get the tech to drive the car but he refuses, his loss, oh well. I had the alignment shop do the alignment to the Sportline specs, he said everything came out within tolerances.
JCE, where do I get the Sportline badges, and how to they attach to the car? Thank you as well for all your E-mails and discussions. I am verry pleased with the results. Alon, after I add the rims, I'll take some pics to post. Planning on 17" AMG 5 stars, hopefully soon. Thanks again, for breathing new life into an older car! I love driving it!

I got them from PartsShop before there was a Fastlane. The part number is 201 817 13 20 Badge, Sportline and I'll bet Phil in Fastlane can get them.
Installation is a snap. The badges are self adhesive. I photocopied the badges and did cut-and-tape until I decided where I wanted them, cleaned the molding with a little rubbing alcohol, and stuck them on.
