Lightbulb Body Roll

Hi, I have a 87 300E, beautiful car, but I noticed the car has A LOT of body roll when I turn fast. I never thought about this until my friend rode in my car for the first time, and that was the first thing he noticed beside the power of the car.

So anyone know where I can get something that will fix this problem?

Mark

You can do a few things.

1. search for sportline and read up on the results. you will be surprised at a new factory tuned mercedes suspension to upgrade your car you can buy right here fromt his site...

2. Buy some h&R, Eibach, or other lowering springs that are stiffer than stock, Add some HD or sport shocks, and swaybars from a 400e or 500e.

In both cases, you should definately upgrade to a 16" wheel/tire package, or a 17" package, but 16" should work just fine.

Hope that helps, My car got reduced roll just by adding some new springs.

Alon

Check the Sportline discussion under the 'cars' tab at the top of the page, then do a search for Sportline. About 2 days worth of reading there!

mix and match fyi info:

...500e/e500 specific sway bars work in conjunction with the 500e/e500 specific shocks (additional internal dampening springs) and the sway bars are more forgiving than those found in the W124 stable mates
