This one looks like the same casing as the one I have out of my 96 SL600. The SL600 as compared to the original 560SL is slightly wider as I had to have each Axel shortened 5/8". It is also about 1" longer so I had to get my drive shaft shortened 1". This one has a different rear cover and the vent is on the case instead of the rear. Something like this might be a solution for me in the future if it has a lower ratio.
