May 09 and May 30 2009 California Speedway in Fontana. I want to do some more testing and I hate being the only older Mercedes there.:http://www.autoclubspeedway.com/Tickets-Events/Events/2009/Auto-Club-Dragway/Auto-Club-Dragway.aspx . Would love to get some other pre-2000s out there.
I also have an ongoing feud with some Titan boys and while I haven't lost to them yet, I really would feel better if a Hammer or 500E or C36 or C43 or ? would show up just in case. Regards, Eric

Help! Help! I just got an updated weather forecast and it looks like I'm going this Sat. 5/9/09. as well. I had said that I wouldn't go cause it was gonna be too hot but now my excuse is gone. I need some bigger guns to come to help keep the Mercedes record against the Titans intact. Help! It looks like now I'm going both days (5/9/09 and 5/30/09). Anybody else? Regards, Eric

There are now 10 Titans planning on showing up. They are pretty determined to take the ole MB down this time. HALP! Regards, Eric

It would really be cool for at least 1 500E to show up. They once accused my 400E of being a 500E in 400E clothing. Wouldn't it be cool for a real 500E to show up and run a full second faster ET and spank them all? Regards, Eric

Lot's to report. Can only cover a little tonight. Successfully held off the Titans once again no thanks to the other Southern California M-119 owners. My rival within that group goes by the user name of Warp09. I thought all 10 titans were there to take me down but their attitude seemed to be: "Warpy, that's your battle, handle it." They were more interested in establishing their Titan pecking order. I only wanted some help in dealing with them if needed, I figured I had Warpy covered (I did) so it worked out. Turns out I have most of them covered too but like I said, it turned out to be not necessary. Anyway everyone turned out to be cool and we all had a good time. Warpy and his bro were even kind enough to give me a bag of badly needed ice in the name of fairness and good sportsmanship. I have never used ice before but it was just so friggin' hot I was desperate to get my car's temps down a bit. The Warpster and me ran 3 times. First one he redlighted but I pulled him on the big end anyway. I out E/Ted him on the second run too but I redlighted. Third run was the money run, our best E/Ts of the day. My 14.959 @ 95.34 (my very first 14 second run in this car was a 14.959 but that was in much better air) to his 15.239 @ 89.71. The D/A today was the worst I have ever raced in: 3328 feet and it was probably worst than that because they are going by 85F when it was really 92F! Everyone was *****ing about how slow they were today. That's why most guys went home early including the Titan boys. After they went home I did some back to back EZL runs and I will report my findings on the EZL thread in a day or 2. http://www.500ecstasy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6354 (Tomorrow is Mommy's day you know.)

I know they aren't as common in your part of the country but surely you know what a Titan is. You're making a funny, right?

It's the full size Nissan truck that caused Toyota to go back to the drawing board with the Tundra. Regards, Eric

Edit: I had said the Titan boys were cool but they've turned bunk again badmouthing me on that thread. Only updating here so that if anybody does go over there and look at that thread, they won't be baffled by the negativity and immaturity now there after I had said they were cool (in other words, they WERE being cool, now they're not). I beg u man, go fit a 3.07 diff ur car will fly, even get it with ASD even if u dont hook it up to an oil press line, u will get at least 15% lsd lock up.

am sure ur 1/4 mile times will drop drastically

BTW when my w124 was boosted it clocked 13.9 @ 102

then i improved it even more with more timing advance and more boost but didn't run a 1/4 mile run
