How much timing to pull from turbo M104?

I figured out my damn AEM FIC was only causing the car to miss because one of the coil packs was bad Good news is I got 3 good ones(who has time to figure out which one is bad ) and I rewired my timing control back in. It works by delaying the crank signal which delays the spark. My cams are in the stock position(slightly advanced a few degrees from the low compression head spacer). I can setup the table to pull timing in increments per pound of boost.

I am going to run 14psi with water methanol injection then, if the graph is smooth, make my way back to 18psi.

When you say you rewired your crank signal back in are you talking the TDC sensor on the valve cover or are you using the prox. on the fly wheel?

I still have my AEM in a box waiting for some free time to wire it in and would like to have the timing feature active day 1... With your learnings on the proper sensor to use with the AEM I might have a chance Thanks

I thought you sold your set-up on e-bay along with possibly your engine?
You were going to go a different direction with the car as I recall.

I also remember you were considering putting it in a 190E as well.....what is the latest?

It's still in the e320, I want the motor perfect b4 I start messing around with swaps.

I am talking about the VR/mag crank position sensor that reads the 3 contact points on the flywheel.

I run around 16 degrees of total timing on 10.5lbs of boost with no detonation.
I pull a couple of degrees if it starts getting hot. Stock I think that the ecu runs around 19-21 degrees of timing, so I would start by pulling around 7 degrees and get your fuel spot on and then start adding back in the timing.
By the way your crank signal is 60-2 teeth on the 1997 m104. The earlier ones were just the three magnets.
