Pictures E55

I have just taken a few pictures of my Dad's 1999 E55. A couple of the pictures are pretty poor, and taken before the car was cleaned.

Here we go!!

It is a real E55, the dealer just messed up.
They have offered to either give us free servicing and some compensation, or we've got the option to change ther car over, and get what we paid for it.
It's all woked out OK though, thankfully.

Thanks for asking

Thanks guys. I wish I had one too. I'm allowed to clean it, but that's about it!
I've had a little drive, but I think my dad's a bit nervous about letting me take it for a serious drive though

Lightbulb If I had a choice ...

... I'd still stick with the 126 for its cabin space and cost of maintanence. After all, there isn't any significant compromise in terms of quality and performance.

Lets not talk about road handling ....

E55's probably cost less to maintain than the W126. The 2000+ models have free regular service maintenance (in US) and the 3 valve/2 plug engines are maintenance free up to 100k miles when you replace the platinum plugs.

As soon as I sell my 98 E430 I am buying an E55. Anyone wanna buy a E430?

W126 definately has higher running costs. E55 probably does better fuel economy than my 300SE, and it's A LOT faster, obviously. I've read different magazines saying like 0-60 in 4.8
Anyway, one more picture. I kind of like this one, shows the huge rear tires and big exhaust
