"some mods improve your car and make it into something it never was, other mods, however, although essentially the same, are not, and make that car a ricer"

if your car isnt shiny, you dont know what you are talking about, remember; paint shine = knowledge. In order to be taken seriously, you should spend all your money on paint, (and get a dyno reading).
Dont forget to polish it often

Good one, the sound alone is worth it, and i know for a fact that it will make more power.

Well, let me know. Im interested still, as long as there is some gain to be had.

More aggressive sound would be more of a selling point to me.

hey buddy, on this precise note, I was lead to believe a custom turbo ext mani, esp' having equal-length runners, increased horsepower quite considerably? I would imagine this is achieved by affording a greater volume of air to be pushed through via ext' turbine? Also, what about turbulence/restriction? I know you want quick, short runners sure but wouldn't a nice spaghetti manifold offer greater ease of flow? Moreso, what aboyt spool up time. Surely a custom manifold allows a larger turbo to spool up quicker. This is what I have come to learn. Similar for instance, with diameter of dump pipe from turbo ext flange. Why would you want back pressure here

sorry if I am misunderstanding the whole thing. Pls correct me if I am way off as, when working with 4 bangers, this seems to be the go! I just want to get this 3.0L turbo flowing great!

Here's a few pics of custom stock manifold:

sorry OP for thread hyjack but I think perhaps this may actually help others understand more concerning exhaust flow Also, how are the wheels turning? Any faster?

Not to be fully negative, but the flow out of the "side exit" exhaust setup looked like a horrendously boogered up piece of pipe that no doubt restricted flow. Use of a proper 2.25/2.5 whatever mandrel bent s-curve there would increase overall flow tremendously I'd imagine. The pipe going into the magnaflow after the Y looked small and crush bent too, which also would not help with flow or sound or look good.
Just a couple of pennies....

1992 Euro C124 M104

I am interested to know what you find in the way of improvement with the nice headers. Might be a good upgrade to my Euro 300CE-24 sportline with Getrag 5-speed.
