Deleting my front radiator fans and adding a W/A intercooler. A few questions.
I am installing a water to air intercooler setup on my turbo e320 and need to remove the front fans to install the radiator for the intercooler setup as pictured:
What can I do to keep the temps down? Remove the clutched mechanical fan and install an electric one?h\

Your front aux fans are mostly for a/c. They only come on higher if engine temps get too high. If driving around at low speeds with the a/c on is regular then you will have to do something. I have an electric fan on my car. You can get kits that have a probe that goes into the radiator hose for control. Pretty easy. Make sure you install a reservoir on the intercooler kit to add capacity and get the air out of the system.

cant that rad fit someplace slanted where ur intercooler is now? or just go get a smaller electric fan and fit it on top of the new setup

put a high flow puller in place of the mechanical fan with a thermostat switch for temp and tie the condensor fan wiring into the circuit so it will run when the a/c pressures get high and/or the engien temp requires it.
