It was a 129 SL600.

I think his screen name was like SL600HP. I will try to dig up the old post.

Your the only one I know about with a 107 SL600!

Its a funny situation, I have room for 2 but not for 1. But if I do it I loose the real estate on the left for ESP and on the right for my window washer bottle. Air filters would have to be custom made. Inter coolers would have to be water to air. A more practical solution especially give the engine is already 10:1 compression might be to go with low boost non inter cooled system. That would still give you 500HP

I'm a long way off before considering such. Phantom grip rearend and then AC comes first.

Well, until I hear otherwise I think I'm ditching the forced induction idea on the M120 engine. It's a bit too much of an expensive experiment for my taste.
The 600 SEC would have been nice but I really like the 560 SEC models too, and there is a Swedish guy that has successfully supercharged a M117.968 engine, stuffed it into a 450 SLC and ran it on a dyno, resulting in 580hp, and no internal engine modifications. Well, he told me he has reached the max hp output for his engine without internal mods. I don't know what he has based that on but he seems to know what he is doing.
So 500hp in a 560 SEC with an engine in good condition does not sound impossible, and 560 SECs with the same mileage are cheaper than 600s... here in Sweden at least.

Would love to get the HP up to the 500 range on S600 Coupe. It's hard to go from the W220 & 215 Bi-Turbos to the non-turbo W140. The turbo(s) would make it a near perfect.
