Good luck. I already inquired about that, basically a couple of people who left the forum and deleted all their posts ruined it for the rest of us; the admins will not reinstate the Edit button. You have edit capability for a few days (?) after a post and that's it. LAME.

if your car isnt shiny, you dont know what you are talking about, remember; paint shine = knowledge. In order to be taken seriously, you should spend all your money on paint, (and get a dyno reading).
Dont forget to polish it often

Always loking for a "rare" Merc....
Need to finish my widebody first....!!!

Off topic..

I'm mounting the Recaro's to the stock base like you did..
I'm making the Recaro switch panel a dummy and control the seat including the back rest from the Merc door switch.
Only difference is that I'm not cutting the base top with the stock fixing points.
Making a 2x3x 3/16 aluminum angle adapter that would bolt to the bottom of the Recaro and to the stock mounts.
The angle will sit inside of the stock top mount...
I'll post pix on the UK build site when I start...

Well you can finish your wide body any time but this opportunity to own a piece of amg history may be gone before spring ;-)

The New Hampshire car (#4 in this registry) was just auctioned on ebay but passed in at $20k. VIN is WDB1240231A009909.

$40-50k seems to be the top end of what these cars will fetch, based on the prices I've collected so far in this registry. I suppose a mint widebody 6.0 coupe with all the options and AMG Germany build origin could go for higher. If he's not motivated to sell then he'll have no reason to lower the price to market value. I can sympathize with that being guilty of it myself, my car is always for sale at a price but that price is a lot higher than market value.

$40-$50k for a clean 6.0L DOHC that is all original. This one has the 5.6L and needs some TLC... I'd say the top bid at $20k says a lot.

There is a widebody 117/119 929 (like my Wagon) coupe for sale in Korea for 90K, but it's off the chart for options..Everything..and then some. It Looks As New.. IIRC, it has 7 or 9,XXX kilometers..

That car @ 65K, if I had the $$, hell yes.
