That thing looks like it is trying to jump off the dyno. What gear are you running it in? I never understand the dyno sheets from other countries. What kind of dyno is that?
Was looking through Jeemu's other photo albums. You guys are building some nice cars over there. I love the Ford escort and the Volvo.

It looks like it is jumping out off dyno because engine missfires badly. Felt like driving in bumpy road.

That dyno is a new one, felt like very heavy rollers, i think it is just inertia only. Power loss wass measured 30hp.

It looks like we know now where is a point when VW 1,6D rod bends. It is somewhere near 550whp when torgue is near 723 engine Nm. Time for h-profile.

That is not to bad. I had CP profile my rods when I had my pistons made for when I reach this point so I can just order them instead of sending them down and waiting for the profile process.

Wait, at what power level do the stock rods fail at? IIRC when you replaced the rods with the VW pieces it was more because they fit. I've never actually seen an M104 rod fail from power output, though if it has I'd like to see it/learn about it.

Yes, I built this engine for VW rods just because they fit. This failure has nothing to do whith M104 rods.

That makes two of us , perhaps PUMPISH could answer this question since he's one of the few people pushing the m104 to the limit ......

Kynsi,
What size injectors are you running? What else have you done to the fuel system?

Old Delphi 998cc low ohm direct wiring by megasgquirt pwm control.

Injectors fets control unit burns once in a while. Iv been too lazy to fit resistors to fix that. That is cheap and quick to change.
