It needs to be programmed on a dyno.
The AIC1 map uses RPM and boost as the main parameters.

When you first make your selections in the R2 software select "3 cylinder-2 stroke " as the engine type.
The instructions do not mention this but it's a bit of a tuner trick when using the AIC1.
It will make the injector pulses more finite.

You need to install a wideband O2 sensor which will give the feedback for the AFR settings.
Under boost you probably want to have an AFR around 11.7.

The dyno is the only way you can tune for max power.

You can set it up by using a laptop but you must have a load on the engine as in while you're driving !

Without load on the engine you won't attain boost.

The dyno is the only way you can confirm if you have the settings correct based on power output.

no u can tune on the road
just get a buddy to help u, read the AFR and input data in the controller untill u get ur target AFR, on the road it will take longer to reach the proper tune but u can do it

Hi Jay

I told him that...but "on the road" still is hit and miss.

Dyno is the only way you know your map is spot on based on power output.

we made my car map on the road. Get a long cable and get the controller and the laptop connected (laptop inside the car).
then it is a game of trials.
Start with boost on minimum, and start with a rich map, then watch your afr...start modifying your map until you reach the best afr (11-13) all the time.
Note that you have to push the car pretty much to the max (full throttle) to cover the whole rpm range.
you cant just take a map from someone, every car would have its own since the kit you are using is custom made

I would ask RBYCC to send you his basemap via screenshot or the actual file itself and then fine tune your map from his. It would make it much easier to start off if he is willing to disclose to you his tune.

More then willing but it may be a while before I can get the map.

My car as most know has been undergoing a major widebody build for a little over a year.
Work is being done in a location about twenty five miles from my home.

Won't be able to download and print out the map until it's back on the road....

Wow Ed, that looks awesome. Those wheels and tires fit perfectly in the wells and look pretty tough.I wonder if that license plate is available in MD. . . .
