Just curious if anyone can confirm manufacture of the E55 4matic wagon in Europe. There were some press reports, but I have not come across any actual examples.

Yes they did, here are a couple, this auto search site calls it a "Combination" not a Wagon or Estate.

I haven't looked for additional info but am sure it's out there. Try http://world.altavista.com/ as a browser translator, next find the page that's in a foreign language. Copy the URL address and paste it into the translator page area and select language.

The search site is http://www.autoscout24.de/, I did a search on E55 and pulled up 62 hits for all of Europe and as I said earlier, they call the Wagon the Combination.

Anyone know a ballpark figure for getting such cars to your driveway? (Cert's, Transportation, Lic, etc)

Renntech also makes an e60 4-matic available for a hefty price in the USA. I saw one last summer and it was recently featured in a magazine that was mention on this site.
