M103 3.0 (300E) airbox on 190E 2.6?
 

anyone think its worth putting a 3.0 airbox on my 190E 2.6? i test fitted the 3.0 airbox and it fits under the hood without problem despite hearing rumors that it does not fit properly. any advantages/disadvantages?

it will work just as well as a 2.6 air cleaner. the bottle neck is not the air box, it's the intake scoop and the diameter of the flexi tube, in that order.

in other words, you won't feel any benefit from it. one guy on this forum did it a few years ago - andy19026. he didn't feel a difference
