Parts section of the forum, I've seen at least 3 or 4 EMs specifically on there, and more folks who are parting out their cars.

The difference in the port shape between the 2 valve heads and the 4 valve head preclude interchange. The 4-valve port is a lot bigger than the 2 valve port. The closest possibility would be the 606 manifold. While I'm pretty sure it won't directly interchange, it may be able to be adapted since they are both 4-valve heads and share the common inline 6 dimensions. The down side is that it doesn't appear to be a very hp oriented piece. It also has an unusual 3 bolt turbo flange so turbo options would be very limited. The flip side is that there are some diesel tuners getting good numbers out of the 606, so who knows?

Finally have more time to move forward on this project... I am going to rebuilt the little T3 that I got for free from a friend.

I have ditched the idea of moving to EFI, and am going to stick with CIS...

Does anyone have exact measurements/directions on where/how to drill the additional holes?

Also - if I go with the Split Second Additional Injector Controller, which model should I go with? There are 8 different models... O_O

Justin

Split Second AIC1-A2L set at 3 cylinder 2 stroke in the R1 software for more finite injector control.

Best location is where TurboTechnics installed which is where the rubber boot fits between the upper air valve assembly and the throttle body.
TurboTechnics used a cast aluminum boot replacement to hold two additional injectors.
You can try to replicate by buying a new boot and use it as a mold to replicate it in fiberglass.
I think someone on the Forum has made a fiberglass boot.
This location gives a very even disribution of fuel to all cylinders which is extremely important

I was looking at this kit since its reasonably priced and I could pick and choose what parts I wanna use. Might be a good base to start with? What do u think?

http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CXR&Product_Code=TRB-KIT-universal-T04-IC0022-TF-KIT&Category_Code=TOKT

T3 T04E Turbo Charger, .50 A/R Compressor, .63A/R Turbine, 3" Inlet & 2" Outlet, 300 to 350HP.

How would one find the trim on it?

Back-burnering my turbo project once again.

I am having some cosmetic work done, so that it is ready for the turbo!

Now, to decide.... 285 or 295 rubber?

Because a legit turbo alone will set you back what they're asking for that WHOLE kit.

You're risking your engine ingesting whatever metal particulates that are shaved away from that turbo running on your car.

Chech ebay, those 'universal' kits are all over the place. For that budget you're better off scavanging the JY. Even used components are more reliable.

What diameter? 295/30/18 is a pretty "standardish" size at that end of the game..........

in regards to exhaust, is it easier to ditch both precats, and run one single pipe from the main cat to the manifold?
I'm planning to use the OM603 exhaust and just drill the holes needed to match to the M103 pattern -- looks 10x easier than making the adapter plate.

Since I plan to stick with stock CIS-E, I plan to do what RYBCC has done using the SS controller to get the boost fuel enrichment since it sounds like he's had great success with it. What are some options to make that work with placement without using the TT boot?

Is it even worth swapping the stock O2 sensor, or just weld a bung after the turbo for reference only. Shouldn't make any difference for the CIS-E side right?

Ideally, an 18" rim.

I may keep 17s to keep it sitting super low though.
