My MB is a 1986 190E-16V which I purchased new here in the Los Angeles area but took delivery at the factory. This was a very special occasion that I'll never forget....the tour of the factory then finally collecting the car at the immaculate staging area. After that, a gourmet luncheon in the company restaurant followed by a complimentary
fill-up for the car at the Mercedes gas station.

So, after 15 years and 77,000 miles I still have a machine in excellent condition with very few modifications. I have tried about every brand of spark plugs and have found that the Bosch Plantinum +4 are definitely the best. I am also using a K&N air filter and Castro 5-50 synthetic
oil. Had the radiator rebuit using a metal reenforced inlet pipe on the plastic tank. An excellent job by Reseda Radiator. I've replaced the main cat. converter, clutch hydraulics and steering damper. Not too exciting, but that's it!

Thanks for your e-mail. I suppose after 15 years I would be amenable to selling it, after all I'm not married to it! There is just one problem with the car and that's the air-conditioner. Apparently there is a leak in the system. I suspect it's one of the hoses, but other than that the car really performs better now than when it was new. If anyone is intested in this Smoke Silver, 5-speed beauty, I would sell it at the very reasonable price of USD $5500.00.
