Formula to calculate HP from RWhp to crank hp..?
Guys,
I have a 97 C36 , and I am curious what is the formula to calculate Hp at crank..? From what I heard it will be different from cars (brand), also with auto and stock shift... Any info would be most appreciated..? If you have a reading of you C36's would be helpful as well.. Thanks, J Irwan |

You'll get as many answers as there are people posting. One can guess, but never really know unless the engine is isolated and tested, then compared to dyno run with engine in car.
That being said, most knowledgable people I have spoken with estimate anywhere between 25 and 35% drivetrain losses. |
