Forged pistons in M272 engine.

Can you run regular 4032 or 2618 alloy forged pistons in the m27x series engines? The silicon infused aluminum sleeves has got me thinking of the Honda FRM sleeves that do not allow the use of forged pistons. The 27x engines have the same sleeves as the M11x engine series I believe and I figured some 55 kompressor guys would have used forged pistons by now but I could find no information. The only thing I'm sure the pistons would need is an iron coating like stock so the aluminum piston material and aluminum bore don't contact.

The simple answer is yes. But most people that have run forged pistons have sleeved the engine or had the cylinder coating changed. There are not many companies that can do this on the stock coating. If you are looking at boost on a m272 then you need to do rods for sure. They are super weak. Actually the rods will give it up before the stock pistons do.
