190 seat rails into 124?

anyone tried fitting the 190 manual seat rails into a 124?

i am undertaking a lightening job on my car and want to loose the electric motors and stuff, i know 124 are available with manual seat bases, but quite rare i imagine.

if your car isnt shiny, you dont know what you are talking about, remember; paint shine = knowledge. In order to be taken seriously, you should spend all your money on paint, (and get a dyno reading).

I've got a spare set of 190E 16v seats that I wanted to put into a w124, but from my research the rails are different widths. Therefore, the 190E seats would leave larger gaps at the door and the center console. On the other hand, it has been done before, it just takes some modification - it's not a simple bolt-up.
