What to do with the 320 air pump when supercharging
I just picked up a S320, I was looking for a E320, but I couldnt resist the S. It's a 1995 with the belt driven air pump.
My C230 kompressor might hold the answer to my question. That car uses the supercharger to supply air the way that the air pump does for emmissions and at start up. I was thinking about doing somthing along those lines. I see several people on the forum have run forced induction on 320 I6 motors, what have you guy done? |

Do you have to pass emissions?
Block off the port in the head and nix the air pump. El Fin.

The other possibility is to nix the belt driven pump and install an electric pump from a later model in a more convenient location.
