CIS Injectors all the same on MB?

I was planning to get a spare set of bosch injectors for my M104 3.4 amg. Most stores online states that those are the same for a very wide range of mercedes cars running cis.
But i do remember that i once tried to swap the injectors from a 420 SEL 1989 onto my 300e M103 1991 and it didnt fit. it has a different pattern on the screw side (picture attached)

anyone to confirm?

Yes there are two different threads (fine and coarse) for the injectors.

Yes the numbers are different. I don't know them off the top of my head but your supplier should be able to look up the correct injectors for your application.

I did my homework
Coarse thread: (usually cheaper than the fine ones, lowest price found around 25$)
Mercedes part number: 0000785623
Bosch part number: 0437502047

Price difference is irrelevant once you figure in cost of changing the lines if you change to nonstandard (for your car) injectors. This is likely difficult as there's the connection at the other end of the line to consider as well.
