New Wheels for Samson the V12 107

These are kind of growing on me. Perhaps not for a stock SL but for Samson I think I like them. If they were chome I dont think I would like them. But the AL at 18" tones it down just enough.

These wheels are off a 2001 SL500 with sport package. The good news is that it apears the rear wheels fit with only the need of simple rolling and no spacers. The front wheels fit without spacers but I do know I will have problems with them and they will have to be adjusted with at least 10-15mm spacers which may make them not fit.

These wheels are 18" by 8.5" front and 9.5" rear. I forgot the ET but both are in the 20's. There is about 3/4" available inside the rear wheels so a 9.5" wheel is deinately a possibility in the rear on a 560SL with the correct ET.

The tires are Raptor 245/40ZR18 front and 275/35ZR18 rear.

It turns I can put on 215/40ZR18's up front and 255/35ZR18's in the rear. That should make the rear perfect as is and the front work out with a 10-15mm spacer.
