722.3 overdrive

good day

has anybody tried swapping the 4th gear in a 722.3 gearbox to a 0.8 overdrive gear? That way still retain good fuel economy on the highway with the quicker acceleration the 3.92 differential provides.

I dont mean making it a 5 spd box. Just change the 4th gear for the 5th gear from another vehicle.

It is just not that simple. There are no parts that would fit. Automatics use planetary gear sets and clutches with pistons and ports and seals etc. The 722.5
actually has an additional planetary basically attached to the back of a 722.3.

The 722.5 is an all mechanical transmission too, right?
