hey m104 turbo guys.

Is there any place to buy exhaust manifold for turbo and how much? How do you feed extra fuel in?Can a m104 be turbo-ed and remain with stock pistons.
I ask these questions as I'm thinking nitrous would end up costing more.

Nitrous would be much, much less.....
Even a DIY single turbo will cost you at the minumum several thousand dollars...
A completely stock engine can have a turbo installed.
The problom is in the fuel enrichment.
Stock engine management cannot provide the mid 11 AFR needed under boost to prevent detonation.

ah but the resistor trick? With nitrous I can't run lean.So do I tap into fuel injection test port for extra fuel?

My friend. The trick thing is only something that taps into the reserves made by design in the system it be timing or fuel. It will not come close to providing the fuel flOw needed when boosting a car or going with nitros.

In both cases extra fuel will be needed. To get that u have 2 options. If u go with nitros u can go for what's called wet shot nitro. Ie u get one injector for nitro and another that sPrays the needed fuel for that specific nitro shot.

If u go turbo then u get a piggyback AEM fuel and timing controller. Larger injectors and an fpr and go thru the whole tuning deal. U need to have good know how abt what ir getting into any ways. As it is ur injectors can only flow for abt 250 hp at 11.5 AFR at best. The trick can only flow a small amount of extra fuel and anything over that and the ecu calls the show off. And as it is with ur setup of 2 wire for the coolant sensor timing and fuel are tied up in one go. So u r already flowing as much as u can.

I understand but using the test port would be good enough for Nitro? If so everything looks good for tax return money.

There is a useless plug on the fuel rail.On Mustangs its called a test port and you get you fuel for Nitrous there.I figured even without nitrous you run a fuel pressure gauge there.Oh well I'm going to use it and add a gauge inside the car. That way I know I can't hit the button with low fuel pressure.

He is talking about using the fitting for hooking up a fuel pressure gauge to feed the fuel side of a wet shot. You could probably do this if you used a small shot. Take the valve out and hook up a fuel line to the fuel solenoid. I would think that you could support a 50 shot on this maybe a 100. Be careful and put a wideband with a air/fuel cutoff in and a fuel pressure cutoff in. Keep from blowing up this way.

Ok then a Nitrous kit comes with a valve that senses low fuel pressure, and shuts off the gas.
I've been looking at used kits for around $500,with bottle warmers and purge kit.
I like to research stuff for 6 months or longer.I did that with Mercedes diesels before I bought one.
Lots of cars in my area with Nitrous, seems only cheaper Honda engines with Turbos.Honda's will fly with turbo, but I need the comfort of a S Class.
