Megasquirt for my V12 M120 Kit Car MSQ FILE
For those that are interested here are the setting I`m starting with. Manifold pressure and spark advance are based on information from various sources.

Thanks! Looking forward to checking out your settings..... How close are you to starting the engine for the first time? Was it running previously? Will defiantly make it easier if it was. Excited for you to hear it run! Starting a m120 project myself. Built the megasquirt 3x and now sourcing the engine. Still deciding on what it's going in, but ill figure it out later. Would you by chance know the overall dimensions of the m120? Can't seem to find it online...... Thanks again, Jason |

These dimensions are in situ when standing at the front of the car, in it's normal mounting position.
600mm wide (not including throttle bodies if you included mine it would be 850mm wide), 850mm long (edge of bell housing to crank pulley) and 600mm deep (bottom of sumo to top of engine) Approx |

Thanks for the dimensions, its much, appreciated! Might fit into what I'm thinking.....
Glanced at your MS files last night briefly, looks pretty good. Have a couple questions though (maybe I imported it incorrectly)? 1) I noticed in your required fuel you had the displacement at 350. Did you do this to bring down the required fuel, guessing at what it will require? 2) I have seen images of the factory flywheel with the trigger wheel/fingers built in. I am assuming you are using this to trigger off of (60-2)? Also, what are the stock units? VR or Hall? 3) I read in another post you are using a cosworth clutch w/ a T5 tranny. The transmission spacer/adapter shouldn't be an issue, but did the coswoth clutch bolt right up? If so, which clutch did you go with? I'm going to try to run without the distributers and use wasted spark w/ CNP's. BTW, do you know if the stock units are logic level coils, I'm assuming they aren't? As for fuel I haven't decided if I'm going to use the MS3X to do semi-sequential or use the main board to run batch fire. MS3X expansion board will handle the VVT, and I won't use the smog pumps. I haven't figured out how I am going to do everything, but I will once I get a motor in my hands. I really do appreciate your help. If there is anything I can do for you, let me know. Hi Jason,
Where are you based? Not sure what happened with the file but the displacement should be 6000cc. If you are using wasted spark I would recommend using to v6 coil packs as otherwise you will need to rip the cop's apart and hack in to the trigger wires etc. Yes im using the standard 60-2 ring gear which uses the standard Bosch Sensor and it's a VR sensor, you only need one of the two that are there. If you going to ditch the smog pump you will need to seal up the check valve etc on the side of the engine. Ive ditched all ancillaries except the alternator. The water pump is now electronic. The flywheel was machined to line up with the ring gear (which doesnt have an obvious pcd bolt pattern, so you will need to pick up the coordinates from the ring gear) and designed to accept a standard cosworth clutch bolt pattern, mine is a 4x4 clutch but s 2wd cosworth clutch would also fit. The only real issue to consider when machine the flywheel and gearbox adapter plate is to ensure the the output shaft sits within a spigot bearing correctly. So lots of little engineering issues but nothing to bad. Hope that has given you some food for thought. Thanks for the cad and moddeling offer, may take you up on that. Stuart |

I'm in the very southwest part of michigan. U? My plans are to strip everything as well. Possibly weld up a custom exhaust and fabricate a different intake, depends on the final application. All that matters is I get that sweat, sweat v12 sound in my ears. I figured I had to do something custom for the clutch, thought I lucked out there for a second.
