Fender Modifications?

I was calling Brabus the other day and they told me that in order to put on 20inch brabus wheels, I must purchase front fenders from them? Is this a sham or it is true?

You probably would need a fender roll. This is when the lip of the fender is rolled back using a special contraption. You can get it done at a shop or rent the tool from tirerack.com

This is just a guess but I think I am probably 90% certain thats the reason...

My new S600 had the 20" wheels fitted by the dealer. I just went out and checked the fenders. The lips are rolled front and rear but the fenders are not changed. The sticker applied by the dealer listed $400 for "chassis clearance kit". I don't think they did much more than the roll.
