shocks, springs, alignment

So I have been playing around with the suspension set up. The front is just lowered with the 129 strut mounts. Alignment comes in to spec no issues.
The rear on the other hand is a pain. I had modified the lower spring link arms and made offset bushings to pull the camber in. I also had to do the same for the toe. Worked great but I wanted a little more drop to get my tires just right. Problem is that you start loosing spring and shock travel to much. So I modified a lower spring link to have drop in it with out cutting the spring even further.
Cut the arm just after the sway bar link and bent it up and cut steel out and welded it in to fill the gap. Worked out great. Now I am looking to get rid of some camber again and add some caster. I found that the lower tq arm in the rear is about perfect for the camber. I switched it but need the upper caster arm to be longer. I think that I will make something short term and play around. My goal is good camber and caster without as much bump steer. I think that I might be on the right track. I will get some pictures when I get a little further.
My one question right now is does anyone know of a shorter rear shock. I know the bilsteins and konis are used but I have quite a bit of drop and want the car to handle properly without bottoming out. I measured with the car on the ground from the bolt in the lower control arm to the body mount I have 16.5 inches. With the bump stop in that is pretty much bottomed out. I was thinking another shock from another car like an M3 or something that would have a short body.

With my car dropped getting rid of the negative camber helps a lot with traction. Also the bump steer is there whenever the suspension compresses. Makes the car wander a little.

You can try Saab 900 shocks(Monroe part# 5977) at rear. @StanceWorks they have used that mod.
