Smile M104 engine oil cooler??

I am living in a 35c average temp.
Most of my friend install an additional transmission oil cooler (Hayden) for their merc but none have yet installed an engine oil cooler.

Since I am going to turbocharged the engine and I want to make it last long.
Can any of you please advice.

What is the proper way to install an engine oil cooler for W124 M104 E320?

In my idea we should cool it down after the pass the turbo but I know that is a bad idea since there is no pressure left in the drain pipe back to the oil pan.
Where to tap the oil? Where to return it back to the system.
Any solution?

... You already have one on the motor. It's a heat exchanger with the radiator.

Really? i though that one is the oil cooler for transmission or there is a line from the engine to the radiator somewhere?.

The engine is perfect for turbocharging.You can wrap exhaust after turbo to hold some heat down.I removed my belly pan for cooler temps. under the hood.

No, it's a heat exchanger that works with the radiator. It's the big bulge attached to the front of the oil filter.

I can not tell which model you have. If it is the cis-104 then you have an oil cooler. If not you do not. At least in the U.S. 1993 300e with the hfm 104 in the U.S. do not have them.
I think that the LH motors did in the w140. Hard to remember.

First I really don't understand what you are talking about
but after some search I do know now that there is a FILTER HOUSE with INTERNAL WATER COOLER type for M104
I try my best force my head at the end of the engine and seem like my M104 come with non internal water cooler.
The question is can i buy this and install it on my engine (I can't find m104 on the list mostly a series of m112)

Will oil filter housing from W140 fit the W124 version? Can we do some adapter? and if it fit I where can I tap the engine oil to feed the turbo?

some web said I should replace M104 housing with M103 300E housing which allow me to buy aftermarket oil filter adapter then I can tap the oil out very easy.

it a bit more complicate than I think

Both of those oil coolers were not available in the U.S. But anything that fits the motor you pictures would fit in any car. The cooler lines and cooler would have to be adapted, but that is not a big deal. The 103 housing can be used. You can also fit a t fitting at the oil pressure port on your stock filter housing for supply.

That's not true at all. The bottom heat exchanger is factory on 104.990 LH 3.2's in the good ol US of A
