Supercharge m111

hi everyone

basically, this is w123 fitted with m111 2.2L engine from w124
, and now I'm superchargeing it! which starts as an idea few months ago

i'm using eaton m45 SC from w210 and crank pulley from kompressor m111(with a 3mm spacer to fit) + SC mounting brackets ( need to be cut from the left upper corner to fit)

pic for the engine before SC

SC

after installing it :
as from the picture an electric fan was installed to clear the crank pulley and SC pulley

cheap Daewoo electric fan:

just for test connect everything and take it for ride

as from the picture i have put the MAF sensor after the SC and it works perfectly (maybe because there is boost leak)

the engine felt more alive but the gear shift a bit late (will be fixed)

this is the exact same thing i want to do with my m110.

i already have the m45 eaton.

i imagined the gears would shift later due to lack of vacuum. how are you going to fix this? have you tried adjusting the bowden cable?

i wish i could see the pics. by the way, how did you arrange your charge piping for blow through? i read somewhere that you have to make the chrage piping before the airflow meter the same diameter as the afm. and that you need to use a screen before the afm to make the airflow laminar. did you need to do any of this?

did you use a dump valve? from what i have researched, on this type of setup, one needs to use two dump valves. one before the airflow meter and one after. coz if you use just one then you will end up with lean buck or rich stall when you leave off the throttle, depending on where you place the dump valve.

can you see the picture above?

i'm using the stock MAF sensor in stock position just run pipe from the supercharger to sensor (to test to see if it works) and it run fine , maybe because boost leak !
but i will reinstall it before the SC because i'm going to run per-compressor water injection

as for the dump valve i'm using just one cheap bosch bypass vlave(10$)
and for the gear i'm thinking just to connect the vacuum line before SC

since the original mercedes SC intake won't fit
made a new intake for the SC
and yes that's an exhaust tailpipe

thats awesome dude. nice work!

i was thinking the same thing. plug the vacuum connection to the intake side of the sc for the gearbox modulator.

is that an m102 engine? the airflow meter looks like one from a w202. in fact the entire engine looks like a w202 engine.

ok, your setup is rather different from mine. i have a w123 2.8 dohc. and my airflow meter is the flap kind.

to update this
the car had been convert to ms2 with new harness and running great with 0.4bar of boost
and later it got an intercooler which drop the IAT quit good for it size ,and also had the diff welded the car pull much better with it

new wiring harness (original was in bad shape) this also give and option to use gm CLT and MAT sensor , toyota tps and bmw cks and idle valve(not installed yet)

tuning with ms, and relay & fuse panel ,and launch control switch and kickdown switch was converted to run as toggle switch

first without the intercooler ,high intake temp 70c

with intercooler in front of the radiator

and the car itself

now i converting to turbo

i have already started the turbo conversion ,0.4bar was a bit low and high IAT and other reasons
got the intake manifold remove to do some modification to mount the idle valve and fpr also to put the MAT sensor on manifold, also i think i'm going to use 560cc injectors instead of the 300cc !?

i'm using holset hx30 ,it has 9cm^2 housing so i think it should spool fast and its good for 400hp maybe more

port the manifold a little pit since it was already out
