OK here is a pic of the whole unit out.
Im thinking about running the WG outlet all the way down with the exhaust down pipe and NOT having it joint back to the exhaust, like a screamer Pipe

Thanks mate.

OK here are a few more pics of some of the things I did today!
I ended up finishing off the IC pipings

I started on the screamer pipe, I'll run it down all the way but thats where I got to for today

OK this is what I've done for the radiator. Because the IC is taking up a lot of the radiator space I had to cut out the radiator mounts and spin them around so its pushed forward.

and because it was pushed forward too far I couldnt use the viscous fan no more so I got these 2 fans, I couldnt find one that would be big enough.

Bad news as I said I was having problems with megasquirt and tunerstudio, turns out megasquirt has a short somewhere in the system and will not load up a firmware. Now I have to send it back to U.S for repairs.

Something had to go wrong .

Great thread.
Once you get it tuned you won't be disappointed. It'll be the best of both worlds - improvement in fuel economy and power on demand.
I had a great improvement in fuel economy when I drove my cabrio with the turbo technics kit installed.

using exhaust pipe for turbo

I saw on TV how they took a plain Corvette Turboed it,Now it beats the expensive Corevette. They didn,t have engine room for the turbos,so they mounted them in the rear.
I'm wondering later when I'm tired of buying nitrous, this will work for me.That is mount my turbo where the exhaust pipe goes into one.
I'm thinking easier,no need for fancy headers, use one turbo.Use nitrous just for lag.

u dont need fancy exhaust mani maybe, but have u given the oil feed and return to and from the turbo a thought? or the air piping and routing? or the possible leaks that will spring every now and then? STS option is only considered when it is an absolute must.

How about u go for a vortec type supercharger?, it compact, behaves like a turbo almost, and thou its not as efficient as a turbo in terms of power results it will certainly out shine a rear mounted turbo on the long w140.

Well I was thinking super charger is so hard to make pulleys and such.Could you run a seperate oil tank with electric pump for turbo.
I don't plan this soon but I love the way my turbo works on my SD.
Just a little boost while pulling out in traffic, would be better than flooring it.The air would be cool under the car as no need for intercooler.
Just a thought I ain't a engineer

I'm glad you think so. That's why I thought to turn the 140 into something that is not.

With 9 PSI on an old 4-Matic wagon, I can appreciate the oddball decision to turbo a 140. I'd imagine that the weight of the 140 will load the turbo such that it will spool aggressively once it starts to build boost.... ahhh that's heaven.
