if your car isnt shiny, you dont know what you are talking about, remember; paint shine = knowledge. In order to be taken seriously, you should spend all your money on paint, (and get a dyno reading).

i use vapuered LPG, since liquid lpg instalations aren't trusworthy yet, lpg pomps are shortlive and injestors aren't so popular, the most dangerous thing using liquid lpg is that u can froze your intake valve...

so i use vapoured lpg system magicjets are the cheapest injectors - one for each cylinder like in pb. u can use better injestors, but i haven't got so much money when i started this project. i use 3mm nozzles in my injectors, and p&h board in ms to drive them, relays between them and ms change injestors from pb to lpg, also +12v is changed. i had lpg instalation before and i know, that when the seller says, that something is good for 300PS you must calculate it for 200 PS so i bought two vapours for my instalation, in the lpg tank i have valve with 8mm, and whole pipes under the car are 8mm... with two vapours (pistonlike magic III) i have slightly pressure drops when accelerating, i think, that if i would use only one vapour i would have such pressure losses, that my PW would be to long... i have pressure correections, i log pressure diffrence between inside of intake manifold and lpg fuel rail... also temperatures corrections, and that is everything U neeed to have good control over the mixture on lpg...

what kind of problems had that giy, which tried to use lpg?? did he had liquid lpg instalation??

here are some pics:

if U have more questions ask, i will tell U everything i know

mercedes m104 3.0 24v acceleration on lpg with ms III on board - YouTube

little bit about acceleration on lpg, not fully tuned, tunerstudio live tune ona tablet running during this acceleration. i must train gearchange from 1 to 2, because i've done it hirrible, also i noticed, that afr between 6000-6500 goes to about 14.5... and engine struggles a bit....
ooo and my dynobutt tells me, that u were wright and the cam should be advanced till 6000rpms, because on high gear it slows with acceleration between 5k rm and 5500-6000 then again accelerates faster

i will describe You everything, what U need to know about lpg instlation to make it Yourself. You have all needed parts in UK??

this is an easy scheme of lpg instalation, to have an lpg in your car You will need.
1. lpg tank - diffrent schapes, and capacities, personally i have wheel like shape, and i have it mounted in place of spare wheel
2. tank valve - two way valve, which allows you to tank and give engine lpg (electrically opened)
3. tank valve, i have it hide under tank flap, so noone, who shouldn't know, that i run lpg don't know, till i decide to tell him
4. lpg pipes 8mm diameter, to connect the engine bay with the tank... earlier copper like were commonly used, but it is hard to put under the car and don't close it's light, i made the installation using pcvlike pipe
5. lpg vapours, since our engines prduces much HP we need two i use magic III vapuor, pistonlike so u need to it two valves with filters liqidphase. electrocally controlled, and a tee, which would divide your pipe from tank to these two valves then to to vapours goes 6mm pipe the filters with valves can be for 6mm diameter.
6. gasphase hoses, which connects gasphase filters with vapours the vapuors must have coolant income and outcome... so they could vapour liquid phase of the lpg it is connected to the coolant system parrarel to the small circuit
7. intake manifold with nozzles on each intake canal for each injector
8. lpg rail with injectors and sensors -mapsensor and temperature sensor
9. you have to connect wverything together and decide if you want to use ms efi to control lpg and another pigtail efi such as stag300 6cyl, which is based on pb computer readings....

any more qestions?

it runs dual fuel on ms III using relays on output for injectors, no additional efi for lpg...

MEGAPOL - samochodowe instalacje gazowe - LPG - auto gaz - autogaz here is supplier for all parts, that U need, if u want i can make U a list, what should you buy....

Today came to my mind why sometimes the car goes wonderful on lpg, and sometimes like he could go, but he can't, and why on pb it goes better than on lpg (i have tested yesterday, but no vid made)... it is coused by the temperature of lpg... the best performance no lpg is when lpg temperature on lpg rail is around 30 deg celcius... if it comes to 50 the car gets lazy, reaction to gas pedal is worse and so one, but when the temperature hits 70 deg celcius it gets very, very lazy... it is caused by volume of the gas injected to the intake manifold, when it is so hot the capacity is very big, but when it is recalculated to the mass we get very little. so the in big amount gets into intake manifold, and when it gets to the chamber it turns out, that there is less mixture in the chamber, because of the increased volume of the lpg

so the idea, which came to my mind is to keep lp temperature in about 30 deg, mayby little less if the injectors will take it, with a pwm valve mounted on the coolant supplier line of the vapour. if they don't freeze i think it would be best option to get best performance and power on low cost lpg

hello, i have just finished my knock sensing device for knock hearing on earphones with 4way bypass filter and autogain. Could U tell me for what angles i can look for knock for wot?? i can hear noise made by valves and so on, but no knock. i make ignition angles so high, that the engine starts to struggle, but no knock... on bench testing the frequency for knock for m104 is very good hearable on the device, but on the engine no knock.
