turbo or kompressor for 190e 2.5-16V

Hi,
I'm thinking of adding a bit more power to my 16v, but I'm still not sure which way to go turbo charger or kompressor. My questions are :

Which is easier to fit ?

for the TURBO - since I'm thinking of building a custom kit
1. What model should I get (gerret t03, t04 or some KKK).
2. Will I need to make modifications to ECU ?
3. What is the max boost I can run with the stock engine ?

for the Kompressor
1. From what model MB should I get the kompressor from ?
2. How much power will I gain from the kompressor (with a turbo kit it's about 60 - 80 hp).
3. Do I need to use an intercooler with the kompressor ?

Turbo or super it is really your choice. I am very happy with my supercharger as it provides excellent "drivability" in the 2500-4000 RPM range, adds lots of additonal torque. I suspect that it will not provide the peak horsepower that a turbo with its higher top end boost. It also depends on your knowledge and abilities. You can buy a complete turbo kit but you will need to fabricate everything yourself for a supercharger. Your choice. You can see my installation on my project page

Great site !!
Well actually this is going to be my first turbo project. Before this car I used to drive a Fiat Uno Turbo on which I did a couple of mods (head port, higher boost turbo, lightened the fly wheel ect.) but I've never converted a non turbo car to turbo. Actualy I'm a computer programer by profesion and modifing cars is just a hobby ). I intend to build a custom turbo kit cause it'll cost less and I already have some of the parts (intercooler,BOV).
I'm also considering the supercharger cause a friend of mine has one from an SLK which got wrecked in a car accident.
