unless you're talking about 10" wide rims, i'm pretty sure that almost anything that fits on an R129 SL will fit on as 500E/E500.

i'm sure there's an exception here or there, but that seems to be the consensus from the parts guys at the local dealerships.

Hi Peter. Well. First of all I'm not sure who sell these wheels.
I know BBS makes them exclusivly for mercedes benz. If you find a set a good pair of takes offs. I got The wheels for $400.00 a piece a steal! Maybe tire rack can get them. I'm not to sure.Its funny but I wanted to be the only one with this set up since its so rad. I did't want to be like the rest of the Benz's out there with AMG's on them. But still wanted to retain a factory look.
I shave 5mm off the rear hub. Now alot of guys are going to say no its unsafe. There's to many chiefs and not enough indians out there. I did the research, I saw how much meat was on the hub of the wheels in the rear. I have no problems. I'm running a shorter lug bolt still has the same amount of threads holding it on the hub the of axle compare to the OEM lub bolts.

So if you want this set up this what you going to have to do.
