Braking distance for E420?

Anyone know the braking distance for a '95 E420? I can't find it in my owner's manual which is strange since I am sure my 420SEL's owner's manual showed stopping distances in normal conditions and also with heavy load, etc. I know the car has pretty amazing brakes from experience, but I am wondering how it compares to other models, like the 300E, etc. Also, has anyone done brake upgrades on the E420?

A Motor Trend December 1991 test of the 400E has distances of.
60-0 in 119 ft
30-0 in 29 ft
(these numbers are amazing, with in reach of many of todays elite cars)

A Road and Track March 1995 test of the E420 has distances of.
60-0 in 153 ft
80-0 in 261 ft

I dont know why the distances are so different for the same car.
The Road and Track had a as tested weight of 3995 lb, while Motor trend has a "manufactures weight" of 3660.

However the lighter 400E had a much slower accleration.

So I will let you draw your own conclusions.

I just up loaded the specs form the 2 mags, here are the links. They will not be up forever so check them out while they last.

Motor Trend 12/91

Road & Track 3/95

Note: I have had a 14.8 1/4 mile run @95 mph so the # may be kind of conservative.

Thanks alot for the info. That's pretty cool. I checked out both your links. I was driving my boss to a meeting the other day (he has a '96 E320) and had to stop quick when a kid almost darted out in the road in front of me and he commented on the brakes (my boss, not the kid).
