More POWER

What's the best and/or cheapest way to get 100hp more out of a W124 E500? No nitrous allowed.

Without Nitrous cheap is kind of out of the question. You would have to supercharge it.
A centrifugal blower would be the cheapest. Then deal with the fuel. You would be looking at quite a few grand.

Agreed. Supercharging is the way to go. But there's not enough room under the hood for even a squirrel to make its nest in there when I store the car each winter.

What's second best on the list?

I haven't come across any turbos installed on these cars. Can you tell me which company has the turbo setup?

Mostly with Mercedes you have to make your own parts.I'm looking at going with supercharger in 3 years.!st buy me another motor build her good for 500 whp.Add supercharger before loading into car.Get local machine shop to make my parts.Or buy my own milling machine.

Buy a faster car.

there are basically no bolt on upgrades for those cars. everything is custom fitted.

Actually: If you drop enough weight, it may be possible. Ac system, heat, ccu, radio, seats (really heavy), I doubt youll reach 100 gain, but it would help

You can put a centrifugal in the 500e. It has been done before. Just move the washer jug out of the way. Put a small unit in somewhere else or none at all. Also you could use a rotrex which is really small.
