320E W124 Ethanol E85

Hi Guys, I'm searching for bigger injectors plug and play for 320E.
I would use E85 Fuel, for now without turbo or anything else, so i need injectors which are 20-30% bigger.

Maybe you know injectors with this features.
Injectors from M111 E23 ML wont fit, right?

In the future, i will swap the Engine with 5 Speed Gearbox (717.450) in w201.
If this works fine, I'll try to boost it

By the way, i think I need ca. 250cc injectors.

In 1 or 2 days i receive my adjustable fuel pressure regulator, so i set up the fuel pressure. But I'm not sure if it work.

Nope he doesn't. With e85 u need more fuel flow to retain proper afr. So for the same amount of air he will need more fuel going in.
The advantages of consuming more fuel are that in reality he is using less gas and the rest is ethanol. Secondly e85 is high octane fuel. So the timing trick on that car can be pushed more.

Hi Guys, thanks for the answers.

Today i received my adjustable fuel pressure regulator, so I changed it with the original regulator. With 60% E85 und 40% E5, the car goes like Super E5 (5% alc).

Before i changed with the adjustable regulator, the car sucked, misfire and no power (60/40).

If the gas is empty, I will use E85 only.

I cant say what pressure I adjusted, cause I havent a fuel pressure gauge.

Injectors: I searched around, the Injectors from BMW M5 (s38) are ca. 250cc. And I think those could be used. Also the the 2,8l from VW VR6 Engine are 250cc. Dont know if they would fit, but I think so.

If I cant enrich the afr by the FPR, the next step I do is changing my injectors.

Also I'd say the Injectors from S500 are too little - this engine got less power for its cylinders than C36. And the C36 AMG got (compared with EPC) exactly the same Injectors than M104 2,8 and 3,2.

Here in Germany are only a few people who drive E85, cause german people are very conservative, so if it isnt approved from MERCEDES BENZ, they wont use it. thats it.
btw, i refuel my car in France

Lol. Interesting part of the world. I read somewhere that you have to change all rubber hoses to metal when using e85 and that you will need higher compression ratio or more boost and more timing. How much cheaper is e85 in your part of the world?
