Custom turbo or TDI kit?
One day i will eventually end up with the turbo stroker kit from bekkers for my 2.3 16V and when that time comes I am going to need to decide between the TDI turbo kit that will have to be adapted to custom throttle bodies and for high boost, or going to a turbo shop and having a custom turbo built. What do you guys think? What will be more cost effective and what will be of better quality? Anything helps...thx

You live in my neck of the woods...
I would say, get another car. You could change cars and end up with a much better combination than trying to soup up a 8v 190. If you love the 190, why not purchase a 16v? You should come by my shop and look around....and talk to me. Check out www.MBAutowerks.com for directions.

I have already planned to drop a 16V motor in the car not too far ahead in the future and do a custom engine management system. I have that pretty well planned out so far, so once that goes in...i will be in buisness. For now, lets just pretend i already have this motor in the car. I would love to come and visit your shop sometime though, and maybe you can have my buisness. I am a 16 year old with limited funds though so i would keep that in mind.
