You'd be just as well, getting an injector driver, like the ERL MF2 (which is what I'm using on my car), with a couple of extra injectors fitted in the inlet pipe.
This can be setup up to give you the extra fuelling you need without even touching the engine's original setup at all.

Here's a random link to a site selling the MF2, but eBay is your friend here, I bought mine second hand for £128(less than half price, but I've seen used ones sell for as little as £35.), it had never been used, it was still in the box!!

Thanks for the link. The guys at mr turbo in south africa sell additional injector setups for CIS. Its pressure actuated. I may go with one of these kind of things. Thanks for reminding me.

I managed to get a single point injection throttle body off an import model 1.4 golf mk3. Probably from the US market. These injectors have an opening pressure of 12psi. The fuel guage on the fuel regulator shows that the pressure in the return line is 5psi. I could adjust it to 9psi without affecting idle and startup too badly.install the additional injector before the regulator. That way the additional injector would open at 3psi of boost.

I had considered the Aquamist unit.
Oddly enough the main dealer in the USA is a Saab specialist that races early Saab's with CIS.
The Aquamist USA dealer suggested the USA made Split Second AIC1 unit which is less expensive, fully self contained and is more finite software tunable via a laptop versus screwdriver setting of trim potentiometers on the ERL..

Throttle actuated bypass valve. I reversed the action of the spring so the valve closes when I hit full throttle

Yes yes and yes. Yes I tested it against a porsche 911 and I stuck with him. Yes, it opens at idle and I am now able to keep the rpm down. And yes the spoiler looks wierd. But its bolted on. Already made holes in the boot. Stupid mistake. But what the hell. It does do the job of downforce at high speeds. I can feel the back dip and handling improve when going past 90mph

FPR

I made the exact same job in on my m102 many years ago, my uncle who is a mechanic engineer and knows every possible thing about K and K-Jet installed a Porsche Turbo KE FPR to increase the pressure in the fuel injection and worked well, but what improved more was a micro switch that started the cold start fuel injector. Thats a pretty cheap way to do things but i am sure you can improve much more with other settings, this was several years ago, now i made all new and much more nicer. Regards. Adolfo
