M110 camshafts
Given the lack of any data on the M110 camshafts I plotted the lobes of the 3 variants that I know of.
The first chart shows the intake profile for the US spec, Euro spec and DBilas reground cams from Germany. The second shows the DBilas exhaust and intake, and the third is a close-up of the overlap. |

That's handy!
The only other spec would be AMG, and Dbilas is supposedly similar. |

If you happen to have a set of amg cams lying around, I'd happily add them to the data set!

Very cool information, didn't even know about the DBilas grind.
It'd be great to have those AMG cams mapped. I once wrote AMG to get the specs and they didn't even have them anymore. Are they CIS friendly or do they need EFI?

Road going M110s have lobe center spreads between 105-109 degrees.
What is the expected power curve that will result from lobe centers of approx. 130 degrees (read from the thumbnail plots)? |

M110 regrinds
I'm in the process of trying to figure out specs to have my Euro m110 camshafts reground in the US.
A few questions: the Euro and US cam profiles seem identical except they are keyed differently? I.E. US being retarded more? Could someone help me with the specs for the dbilas cams. From their website: Duration: : 270/280 Peak timing: : 112 Valve lift: : 11,0/10,5 Lift at TDC: : Valve timing: : 23/67 - 72/28 Valve clearence: : 10/25 Looking at the graphs I now interpret these as listing intake/exhaust. What is valve clearence? I'm considering asking a US cam shop to grind the cams for me. dblias has a good price, but shipping back and forth is going to hurt a bit. I've not read about anyone that's done that though - any advice? Thanks, Laszlo |

Shipping isn't much. $70 dhl from them and about $50 ups to them.
